mas, pioneer behind the soft leather shoes is a canadian woman. she named it robeez after her son robert. i am just curious how much GBP is it selling retail? cause lately i see a lot of generic brands like the ones by disney but i think the pure poppy ones are true robeez?
Hi Aida, Thanks for the info. Yes, robeez is certainly the pioneer. I did contact them to get a quote, but with shipping and taxes it's way too expensive to sell in Msia! The more up-market ones in the UK like StarChild or Inch Blue are selling around £16.00 each (around RM110 already). I chose Star Child because they are more contemporary and it's the top brand in the UK. Plus they are made in the UK, so it's rather special (as more and more products are sourced to China nowadays) The other brand I'm stocking soon is WeeStep from the US. They've been around for 30 years already, I think right after Robeez. I try to keep the price down so that more working parents can afford these lovely shoes, so profit margin is not that much for me. But it's not just the money they say, it's sharing the parenting exprience that counts In terms of design, I think they all look kinda similar in many cases. I guess it's the quality of worksmanship and materials that set them apart. |

Only 1 item for 12 - 18 mth boy? My son is 9 mth now. I already start buying 1 yr old clothes for CNY. N my hubby oso buy some OshKosh from Singapore, is cheaper than Malaysia lor. Me quite fussy with clothes one So normally will buy good quality one. I got some Miki kid and mothercare one for him already. So looking for some other brand for his new year clothes.
Hi woeix2, Sorry about the sizing. I will look into it again, and hope to add more 12-18 mths size in the future. It is okay to be fussy - I am very fussy too, and I find that clothings in Msia with Malaysian own brand like Anakku and Miki are way too expensive sometimes, and I can get even better quality in the UK for lesser price. Don't know why . We are getting a lot more stock on Mothercare and Marks and Spencer clothings for the next shipments, just to let you know. Maybe there is something there for your little one |

Hi Mas, I have browsed through the site, am interested in some of the items for girls, especially the OSKOSH products. How do I order and pay?
H*llo, If there's any item you're interested in at the moment, I can reserve them for you as some of them have very low stock quantity. You can pay have first to secure the items, and once we are ready to ship the items to you, then you can pay the remainder. You can pay by paypal, or online to our bank account. I think that is the best and fairest way. For the shoes sizing, UK and Europe sizes are generally very standard. If you're not quite sure, I would advice to buy shoe sizes according to age, especially for baby shoes as the difference is marginal. For toddler, he or size current size can be used. We are happy to exchnage for the right size provided that it's in stock and the footwear has not been used. If there is no size available, we will give store credit for you to spend on other items. I hope that answer your question. Sorry for the delay, the time difference is a bit tough |

Hi Mas, May i know when is the launching of yr store? R u selling only baby stuffs?
Hi Jasz, We hope to launch the site first or second week of February. I am currently based in the UK (despite what it says on the profile- i've requested for it to be changed) I shipped the items in December, and it will take 6-8 weeks to reach Malaysia. At the moment yes, we stock mainly baby stuff. But I will add more nursing products such as bras and tops for mums, and general "mumsy" products such as beauty stuff and clothing, if there's demand of course Kind regards, Mas |

Hi everyone, My name is Mas. I stumbled across this website while "googling" on some random baby stuff. I must say I am very pleased to have found this site - it's very informative!! Anyway, I would like to introduce my baby store which we are launching soon. It's called Rockabebe at http://www.rockabebe.com . We are currently online, but not really operational yet. I would appreciate if friendly members here could have a look and give some feedbacks - any feedback is welcome in terms of stock, products, design etc etc etc. We are also will be stocking soft leather baby shoes soon: mainly Weestep from the US and Star Child from the UK. I will post more info on this soon. That's it for now. Thanks for reading and I hope to meet all new and current mothers here soon Best regards, Mas |
