KC, how abot putting her to sleep in a sarong then put her back to the bed after she falls asleep.    Let her get use to both or you wld be in trouble later where you need to bring along alot of 'brg2' when you're bringing her along on vacation, etc.
Ya, i agree too, that's how my sis trained her bb, transfer her to bed after she fall deep sleep, and now my niece doesnt need sarung anymore. She sleeps on bed oledi
Good idea. Thanks
We try as much to put her on the cot for her to get use to bed sleeping than sarong. But sometime, she just complaining so much we have to go to sarong. But funny things is she is ok sometimes in the cot and not somethimes. i wonder why?

Additional question for you all.
1) When we place her on the cot, she sleeps on the side more naturally. Instead of on her back which every website recommend. Is it ok on the side? You all do the same?
2) Sometimes she breaths rapidly. Is it normal.?

Hey, first time parent here
My baby girl is just 2week+ old and she has trouble sleeping in cot at night. So with she waking up very often at night, we decided to buy a baby sarung cradle so she can sleep more soundly.
Anyway, maybe i am being paranoid. but often she will move frequently in the sarong until the wrapping (swaddling) cloth on her body starts to move til cover her nose. And sometimes, her head will move to the side and her nose starts to go against the sarong wall.. I am just worried she will suffocate..am i paranoid to worry so much? Is it normal and perfectly all right? Or do you have any suggestions to have more safe ideas for sarong. Thanks
Hi,

Get those sarong that comes in netting cloth style, this would not cause baby to suffocate.

As your baby gal is only 2 weeks old, when you let her sleep in the sarong, do wrap her up with a napkin including both her hands to limit her movements. Anyway, my baby gal sleeps with me on my bed or her own baby bed till she was 2 mths old, then only her granny puts her in the sarong.

Try not to let her get used to sleeping in a sarong as this would be very troublesome for you whenever you want to go out or outstation.
The reason we use sarong instead of the neting cloth ones is because people said the sarong provide the warmth especially during the night, the neting cloth maybe to cold for a newborn. It is true?? If not i rather go with the neting cloth ones of course..
